At Greene Farm, health and wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. We aim to make a positive difference to the diet of our consumers. In 2011, a decision was made to move all product recipes to natural ingredients. All artificial flavours and preservatives were removed, to create a clean deck of ingredients and to provide consumers with a form of nutritious protein in a ready to eat format.
Where it all began
We have been producing succulent chicken, turkey and beef since 1991 in the heart of the Irish midlands, Co.Westmeath. Founder of Greene Farm, Kenneth Greene, grew up working on his family farm. At a young age, Kenneth began rearing and selling poultry to schoolmates. His passion for entrepreneurship led to the start of Greene Farm in 1991, wholesaling poultry products from his family farm in Multyfarnham, Co.Westmeath.
Today, Greene Farm is part of a larger family, Kepak and Oliver Carty, who together have over 100 years of excellence in producing quality meat. Our team consists of a group of passionate people producing delicious ready to eat foods, where trust and excellence is placed at the heart of the business.
As a member of Origin Green we have developed a five year plan to improve our sustainability in the areas of raw material sourcing, manufacturing process and social sustainability. Origin Green is a world leading sustainable food and drink programme. It helps Irish food and drink suppliers to plan their individual journeys towards sustainability.
